Hi! I’m Adela, nice to meet you!

I am Czech, I live in the Netherlands, and my partner is Portuguese. We have a truly multicultural household and it’s a lot of fun!

I specialise in international elopements. They are what takes my breath away. A couple that decides to ditch all traditions and wants to spend their big day in a magical place somewhere on Earth, may it be a tropical island or the Scottish highlands, alone, just the two of them, is my ideal client. I will hike with you in freezing weather in Iceland to the top of a mountain, sweat with you in a jungle in South America and climb sand dunes during a sunrise in Morocco, if you let me. Whatever is the adventure of your love story, I’m there for it.

Before a wedding photo shoot, I like to speak with my clients about their ideas or concerns, This is an essential part of my business. It allows me to better understand the client and together create photos that we will all be happy with.

Why elopements?

I’ve been photographing weddings for 8 years. Big or small, I love them all, don’t get me wrong! However, throughout the years I realised that when it’s only me and my bride and groom, it feels much more intimate, powerful and we all connect in a more meaningful way. Why is that important? Because with connection comes magic. The more we connect, the more I am able to capture photos of who you really are. If you want posed photos, that follow current trends and look like they came out of a magazine, then I’d be happy to refer to you to one of my many amazing colleagues. But if you want candid emotions, fleeting moments and photos where time has stopped, I am your girl!

How I got into photography?

I have always been interested in art, especially photography. As a little girl, I loved when my mom came home with new magazines. I always looked at all the beautiful photos! I dreamed that one day I would also be able to create such photos. As a teenager, I posed as a model for a friend's photo shoot. The whole process excited me and I found out that making a living as a photographer doesn't have to be just a dream, but if I throw myself into it, it can also be a reality. I will be happy to tell you more about myself and my work over a cup of well brewed coffee.
