How do I book a session with you?

First of all, yay! I can’t wait to work with you. You can send me an e-mail to info@adelabohackova.com or you can fill out a form on the Contact page on this website. I do answer messages on Instagram, but due to high volume of messages, it is always better to e-mail me.

How far in advance should I book a session with you?

That depends on the type of the session, whether or not you want to book a studio and the time of the year. May–November is the main photography season when I am at my busiest. The golden rule is the sooner the better, however, as I work a lot with families, my schedule is quite flexible and I might have an open spot within a weeks notice. Where do you work?

I am based in Bussum, the Netherlands. For most sessions, I cover the Amsterdam, Hilversum and Utrecht area, but I am also happy to come to your area. I often travel to Czech republic (Prague area) and Portugal (Porto area).

For elopements and weddings I am available worldwide. In 2022 I photographed a wedding in the southern hemisphere, so don’t worry, no destination can be too far!

How many photos will I receive from my session?

From each session (unless advertised otherwise - usually as a mini shoot) I offer 30 images, all fully edited in colour and in high and low resolution (low resolution is better for social sites like IG or FB). I may squeeze in a few black & white images or any extra images that I feel like complete the gallery. However, the main 30 images are always selected by you from a preview gallery. You may choose additional images on top of your package for extra fee.

Do you provide image proofs and/or digital negatives (RAW files)?

After our session, I will go through all the RAW images, delete the ones that are not in focus or generally very bad and export the rest in low resolution previews. I will send you a gallery with those previews, from which you choose your images for final edit. Those previews serve only for you to choose the final images. They cannot be downloaded and will be deleted after your final selection. Preview images and RAW files do not represent my finished work and therefore cannot be shared or bought.

What if it rains?

Before every session I check the weather and if it looks like the weather will be bad, I contact my clients. In most cases, it is possible to reschedule. There are also ways to work around rain - indoor sessions, using umbrellas etc. Let’s take it case by case and let’s speak about your situation on the phone.

How long until I receive my images?

I will send you a preview gallery within a couple days after a regular session. In this gallery, you can take as much time as you need to select your final images that you want. Once you finish your selection, I will deliver your digital images within 2-4 weeks (depending on the season). For weddings and destination work, it is me who selects the final images. Wedding delivery time is up to 8 weeks after your big day. However, I always aim at making your waiting time as short as possible!

What type of edits do you provide on images?

I always edit the lighting, colours, crop (if needed) and touch up skin, when needed. I also reduce unwanted clutter and any disturbing elements in the background of images. When it comes to skin editing, I only edit out temporary elements, like blemishes, smudged make-up etc. If you want me to make you look thinner/bigger, I can do that for an additional fee. However, I do think that you are perfect the way you are!
